Former Democrat President Barack Obama revealed he caught COVID-19.
This is an announcement he made a couple of days after his wife Michelle Obama was seen with their daughters, dining in a high-end restaurant in Los Angeles.
‘Vaccinated, Boosted, and Grateful’
Obama, who is now also tangled in a new scandal by constructing a controversial beachfront home in Hawaii, posted on Twitter on Sunday afternoon, he “just” tested positive for the coronavirus.
He added his only symptom has been a “scratchy throat”, and otherwise, he is “feeling fine”. The former Democrat president further revealed his wife, Michelle Obama, tested negative for COVID-19.
Obama then declared the two of them are “grateful” they have been “vaccinated and boosted” against the coronavirus.
The former Democrat president, known for his lavish lifestyle, also used his coronavirus infection announcement to push Americans once again to get vaccinated if they haven’t had the shot yet, “even as cases do down”.
That indeed has been the case over the past few weeks, after the surge in coronavirus infections over the winter caused by omicron, and decline in COVID-19 cases and deaths led to the growing easing of restrictions throughout the nation.
According to the latest data of the Centers for Disease Prevention and Control, on Friday, there were a total of 38,482 new coronavirus infections in the United States.
I just tested positive for COVID. I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted, and she has tested negative.
It’s a reminder to get vaccinated if you haven’t already, even as cases go down.

Obama Women Hanging Out at Posh LA Eatery
In his COVID infection tweet, Barack Obama made no mention the coronavirus status of his two daughters, 20-year-old Sasha and 23-year-old Malia, who are both presumed to be away in Los Angeles.
However, Obama’s announcement that he contracted COVID-19 comes just three days after his wife Michelle was noticed and photographed together with their daughters dining out at a luxury restaurant in LA, as reported by The Daily Mail.
The women in the Obama family went to Mother Wolf on Thursday, a posh Italian eatery described as a “new Hollywood hotspot”.
The Roman-inspired restaurant, which was opened in January by Chef Evan Funke, is known for handmade pastas, pizzas, and other Italian specialties.
Sasha, Malia, and Michelle Obama were photographed dining, and then leaving the venue by going out through a private room, escorted by agents of the Secret Service.
Sasha Obama is reported to have recently transferred from the University of Michigan to the University of Southern California.
Malia Obama has allegedly also moved to LA, as she became a member of the writing staff of a new Amazon project by Donald Glover.
It remains unclear whether there might be any connection between Barack Obama’s contracting of COVID-19 and the posh dinner in LA of his wife and daughters. At least the invariable reveling in luxury of the Obama has been demonstrated once again, though.
