When President Trump was in the White House, Democrats in Congress pulled out every stop possible to oppose his administration.
Democrats spread lies about the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, falsely declaring it was nothing more than a tax break for wealthy Americans. Democrats also wrongly accused Trump of colluding with the Russian government; investigations proved these claims to be false.
Despite Democrats who now want to get rid of the filibuster, they put it to use plenty of times when Republicans controlled Congress during the Trump administration.
Congressional Democrats even went after Trump for what they viewed as supposedly high gas prices. This has now come back to bite leftists, though, seeing as today’s gas prices under Biden are much higher than they were during Trump’s administration, as reported by Fox News.
Reviewing Gas Prices in America Today
At this time, gas prices shake out to an average of $3.39 for one gallon. When Trump was president, though, gas prices maintained an average of close to $3.00 for one gallon.
However, while Democrats went after Trump in 2018 over the costs of gas, they are now mum about the prices Americans are paying at the pumps with Joe Biden in office.
To many people, this creates the appearance that congressional Democrats like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer were more interested in grandstanding than in truly ensuring Americans aren’t paying an arm and a leg for gas.

At Schumer’s behest, Biden recently tapped into America’s emergency Strategic Petroleum Reserves to decrease gas costs. Yet, as so many conservatives noted, using the gas that is reserved for the United States in emergency times will not reduce gas costs long-term.
In order to cut gas prices, America’s going to need to produce more energy here in the states. In order for that to happen, Biden’s going to have to stop attacking pipelines and oil drilling.
A Perfect Example of Hypocrisy
The congressional Democrats who pretended to care about gas prices in 2018 when these prices fit their agenda are now silent. Pelosi’s been nothing more than a rubber stamp for Biden and every element of his toxic agenda.
This level of hypocrisy is all the more reason why Americans need to vote Democrats out of power. Time and time again, Democrats in Congress and other levels of government prove they do not have the greatest interests of the United States at heart.
So at the height of a gas crisis, Biden is shipping 1.6 million barrels of crude from our strategic petroleum reserve to CHINA. So far 12 million barrels have been shipped out of the US in the last two months, and it looks like they're gearing up to send more.

It is high time for Americans to get conservatives into office who do prioritize the country and the interests of the country. The nation also needs leaders who will not drive up gas prices by enacting poor energy policies time and time again.
