Previously unknown Hollywood actor Jussie Smollett has now become famous all around the globe; he was found guilty last week of staging a totally fake “racist” and “homophobic” attack against himself.
Smollett became famous by playing a secondary character on the hit TV series, Empire. Then, he apparently came up with the whole hoax in order to gain publicity as a victim and thus boost his acting career.
He clearly achieved the “publicity” part; although, it is hardly in his favor.
‘Hate Crime in Reverse’
In organizing the assault, then lying to the police and playing the victim, Smollett did slander the “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) movement led by President Donald Trump.
After all, the actor lied that he was “attacked” precisely by MAGA Trump supporters. Needless to say, this completely infuriated President Trump himself. He took to Fox News to lambast the disgraced Hollywood actor for a “hate crime in reverse”.
Trump declared there is no other way to describe what Smollett did against the MAGA movement but as really a hate crime. Trump emphasized that there would be no way in which the actor would get away with what he did.
According to the original account of the incident by Smollett, a black gay man, he got beaten up; then, he ended up with a noose put around his neck.
In his words, the two perpetrators shouted in his face, “this is MAGA country”, an allegation clearly damaging to the patriotic movement led by President Trump, as it insinuates the movement is made up of violent racists, as well as homophobes.
Of course, the real, albeit actually fake “perpetrators,” were two brothers from Nigeria. They were acquaintances of Smollett, whom he hired to stage the performance, paying them $3,500 for the favor.
Both brothers already gave scathing testimonies against him in court.
If Jussie ‘Were a Republican’…
In his Fox News interview, Trump indeed expressed confidence Smollett wouldn’t get away without punishment. At the same time, however, Trump made it clear he fears anti-Republican bias and pro-wokeism double standards might very well be used in Smollett’s favor, despite the horrific thing that he did.
Trump declared if the fake wokeist actor “were a Republican,” he would immediately be sent to prison for no less than 25 years. Trump characterized Smollett as nothing but a “con man”, who didn’t manage to get his “Empire” contract renewed.
Trump elaborated it was interesting the actor “got caught” simply because he went all the way with his hoax and allegations. Smollett “pressed it too far,” as he even insisted on getting apologizes.
Jussie Smollett hated Trump so much that he ruined his entire life over him.

Smollett can get up to 20 years in jail for the five counts on which he has been found guilty. However, pundits have commented he might get away with a “custodial” sentence.
It remains to be seen whether there will be real “#JusticeforJussie”, as the popular hashtag began back in 2019. Now, he has to get justice in the position of the perpetrator, and clearly not the victim.
Those victimized by Jussie Smollett are none other than the patriotic MAGA movement and the supporters of President Donald Trump.
