Bock also said Omar’s name appeared multiple times in emails and texts introduced during trial, though that does not amount to proof of criminal involvement.

The timing matters. Bock was convicted in federal court in March 2025 on conspiracy, bribery, and wire-fraud-related charges, and prosecutors are reportedly seeking a sentence that could reach 100 years.
